Kick live notifications on Discord
Streaming on Kick? DogByte posts an alert with a graphic on your server when you go live, then turns it into a summary with duration and viewers when you stop.
Step by step
- Add DogByte to your server and make sure you have the Manage Server permission.
- Add your Kick channel. Use the name from kick.com/name (pasting the whole address works too) and pick an alert channel:
/kick add name:yourname live_channel:#streams - Ping a role (optional):
/kick add name:yourname ping_role:@Live - Preview:
/kick showshows the LIVE and OFFLINE graphics, and/kick testtells you what the bot sees right now: whether the channel exists, whether it is live, the title and category.
Kick, Twitch and TikTok together
If you multistream, add every platform. Each one gets its own alert, and in the weekly summary streams that ran at the same time count only once towards your total hours.
Common problems
The bot says the channel does not exist
Check the name in the kick.com address. Letter case does not matter, but leave out the @.
Turning off the ping
/kick clear with the role ping option. /kick remove deletes the channel and /kick list shows what is set up.
